Ugii is one of the fresh watered lake in Mongolia, which is a wonderful place for the birdlife as cranes, ducks, Swan Goose and White Spoonbill and Dalmatian Pelican comes there in the end of April. This is good place for fishing area also which is situated 1.337 meters above the sea level in Ugii soum in Arkhangai province and covered 25 square kilometers. The fish population is represented by pike, catfish, barscharten, which are the most common types providing enough fish for industrial fishing. 50-80 tons fishes are caught annually.
