MNT 1.5 million to be paid in 2011 and 2012, including MNT 500,000 in cash

The Government has decided to grant MNT1.5 million to every citizen of Mongolia, in two phases – in 2011 and 2012. MNT500,000 will be paid in cash, while the rest will be distributed as entitlement to retirement benefits and health insurance, to access education and health, and to own apartments.

Joint Art Exhibition Opens in Xanadu Art Gallery

On November 4, an opening ceremony of a new joint exhibition to be named “Zergeldee” took place at the Xanadu Art Gallery.

Well-known artists of the Xanadu Art Gallery B.Orkhontuul and B.Badral are displaying their works of art in the exposition, which will be available for public until November 11, 2010.
Artist Badral took first place in the international competition themed “Tiger Translate” and also he has been participated for Mongolia in the art festival entitled “Voyage”, which was held in London.

International Travel Mart Wrap-up

The Mongolian Tourism Association organized successfully the 11th annual fair to be named “International Travel Mart-2010” (ITM) in the Misheel Expo Center on March 20-21, 2010.

Mongolian designer M.Tsolmandakh successfully took part in the “Hyeres-2010” International Fashion and Photography Festival, which was organized in Hyeres, France.

Then, Tsolmandakh was rewarded “Public Prize” in the International Fashion and Photography Festival.

International festival of Morin Khuur

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ International festival of Morin Khuur (Mongolian national musical instrument) will take place April 28-May 4 in Ulaanbaatar. The festival, run the second time, is co-organized by the World Morin Khuur Association, Mongolia's Center of Morin Khuur, Association of Morin Khuur and the "Ikel" foundation of developing folk arts.
