Day 6

Selenge River is the biggest river of Mongolia at 992 km long. The Selenge is a confluence of Rivers Ider, Delgermurun, Eg, Orkhon, Yeruu, Tuul and finally flows to the Baikal Lake in Russia. The Selenge is home to several species of fish including Amur Catfish, Carp, Ide, Lenok, Pike, Siberian Roach, Taimen.

Most of the province is covered with forest and there are big rivers like Selenge, Eg, Ider, Delgermurun and big lakes like Huvsgul, Sangiin dalai & Dood. Huvsgul is a big livestock area and there are usually goats, sheep and cow.

Activity: Cycling around 35 km on dust road to Namnan Mountain via Khutagundur on first days. Cycling around 30 km on following day Ikh Uul village and enjoy the majestic view of the nature on the way. Hiking, photographing and relaxing. Read your books.

Day 9

Destination / Accommodation: Huvsgul Lake National Park / Huvsgul dalai camp

Huvsgul Lake National Park is the largest freshwater and the most beautiful lake in Mongolia. It is 2612 km square and 262 m deep, and contains 1% of world fresh water. The area is a paradise for outdoor travelers and there are plenty of activities such as hiking, birding, fishing, horseback riding, kayaking, exploring.

Activity: You can go shopping for basic stuff in Murun. Cycling from Hatgal soum to Huvsgul lake. Discover the lake by taking a boat tour (1 .5 hour). Take lovely nature pictures and relaxation in the beautiful nature.

Day 10

Destination / Accommodation: Huvsgul Lake National Park / Huvsgul dalai camp

Tsaatan or reindeer people are the people who live in the northernmost part of Mongolia, among the high and cool dense forest of Taiga mountains. They keep reindeers and use reindeers’ meat and milk for their food needs as well as riding them in the forest. There are not many families in Huvsgul province and the Tsaatan population is currently decreasing.

Activity: Visit to a local Tsaatan or reindeer family and explore their lifestyle. You may try riding a reindeer. Horse riding (1hour). Enjoy the lake by trekking. Explore the flora and fauna of the area.

Day 11

Destination / Accommodation: Ulaanbaatar City / 4* Hotel

International Intellectual Museum displays over 11,000 intellectual items from 130 countries around the world and over 5,000 of them are puzzles. Most of the displays of the museum represent various branches of science in simplified form by using toys and puzzles. Visitors are allowed to touch and challenge themselves by trying to solve the puzzles. National Folklore Concert; it is a witness the wonder of Mongolian throat singing, melodious dancing, pliant contortionism and melodious musical instruments.

Activity: Fly to Ulaanbaatar from Murun (Eznis Airways one and half hour). International Intellectual museum, shopping for souvenirs, cashmere and woolen products and See the Mongolian traditional folklore concert by Moon Stone or Tumen Ekh ensemble.

Activity: You will be transferred to the airport.
