Day 1

Ulaanbaatar city, the capital of Mongolia was established in 1639 in central Mongolia and was moved to its present location in 1778 after several resettlements by nomads. Now the capital is located in the right bank of Tuul River, surrounded by 4 sacred mountains. Until the Revolution of 1921, the city was made up of traditional felt yurts, but it developed into a modern European style city. Your visit will enable you to see the mixture of traditional felt yurts from ancient times, Soviet style of apartment blocks from Communist times and the modern style tall glass towers. Since almost half of the Mongolian population lives in Ulaanbaatar, it is an educational, economic, political and vital center of Mongolia.

Day 2

Bayan-Ulgii province is the westernmost province of Mongolia. Bayan-Ulgii has an area of 45.7 thousand km square and a population of 92.6 thousand. Bayan_Ulgii has the most famous snow capped mountains and glaciers in Mongolia, and is a majestically beautiful area to visit. There are also plenty of rare animals, plants, rivers and lakes to visit.

Tsagaan Gol or Potanin glacier is the biggest glacier in Mongolia. It is 20 km long and runs down from the highest mountain of Mongolia.

Day 4-5

Altai Tavan Bogd National Park. Altai Tavan Bogd means "The Holy Five Peaks of Altai mountain range" and these are the peaks of Huiten (4374m and the highest point of Mongolia), Nairamdal, Ulgii, Burget and Malchin. It is a stunning setting with the awe inspiring massif of high snow capped peaks. Burial of Huns is the first Mongolian state in Mongolian history. It was a fearless and strong state and the Great Wall of China was built by the Chinese emperor Qin Shi Huangdi To protect his people against the Huns.

Day 6

Kazak family. Most nomadic families in the Bayan-Ulgii are Kazak and they usually have hunter eagles, which they breed the eagles and train them for hunting. The Kazak gers look quite charming with its handy crafts and hosts are very friendly and hospitable – you will be able to visit the Kazak people and experience their way of life.
