The main highlights of this trip are the traditional Naadam festival and the Great Gobi desert and you will take part in hiking, horse & camel riding and many other activities. The anniversary of Mongolian Folk Revolution of 1921 or the Naadam festival is organized on the 11-12th July annually and 2010 sees the celebration of the 89th anniversary. Naadam is the biggest joy to all Mongols and during the Naadam festival we enjoy the three manly sports: wrestling, archery and horse racing.
It is impossible to imagine the Mongols without their horses. At Naadam you will see 6 different ages of over 2000 horses will race during three days and the jockeys will be only little children? Also the strongest 512 wrestlers will compete in green field for state titles and female & male archers shoot by traditional methods. Classic Naadam Festival tour allows you to see all of these and it will be a wonderful cultural experience.
