This trip is best if you love horse riding but do not have time for a longer tour. You will be riding in a forest leading to a ruin of an old historical temple called “Gunjiin Sum” which is not too far from Terelj National Park. Terelj is a very pretty area with many fascinating rock formations. This trip is a challenging but often times relaxing and always enjoyable tour for riders to experience horseback trekking in Mongolia. Brief itinerary
Day 1. Arrive in Ulaanbaatar. Meet at the airport. Take a city tour. (L+D)
Day 2. Drive to Terelj National Park. Visit to Turtle rock & meditation temple. (B+L+D)
Day 3. A full day horse riding trip to Princess temple ruins. (B+L+D)
Day 4. Half day horse riding in Khentii wilderness. Visit to a nomadic family. (B+L+D)
Day 5. Drive back to Ulaanbaatar. Take a city tour. (B+L+D)
Day 6. Departure Mongolia. (B)
